Meet Our Team
Dr. Meyer is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, The Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society as well as the Florida Veterinary Medical Association. A graduate of the Michigan State University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr Meyer is the founder of our hospital.
Throughout her career she has been instrumental in building strong referral relationships with veterinary day practices as well as board certified veterinary specialists.
Dr. Meyer is also an instructor for the Veterinary Technology program at St. Petersburg College. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her pets.
Dr. Gina Ushi received her veterinary degree from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2009. She has been working at TBVES since graduation. Her veterinary interests include emergency medicine, dermatology, surgery and wildlife.
Dr. Ushi is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Florida Veterinary Medical Association. In her free time Gina enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her pets.
Dr Megan Niedens recieved her veterinary degree for the University of Flordia. She completed a one year internship at the Florida Referral Center with emphasis in small animal emergency medicine, internal medicine, and surgery.
Her interests include clinical pathology and internal medicine.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and cooking.
Dr Michele Lentovich recieved her veterinary degree from the University of Florida. She has been practicing emergency medicine and critical care with strong interest in trauma, snake bites, and exotic animal medicine.
Dr Lentovich is also very interested and active in wildlife and marine mammal medicine and rehabilitation.
She enjoys time with her husband and twin girls and many pets. She also enjoys the beach, scuba diving and travel.
Dr. Jamie Davison received her veterinary degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She relocated to the Tampa Bay area to complete an internship at Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners (formerly known as FVS). It was during her internship that she realized her passion for emergency medicine.
Dr. Davison has a special interest in exotic/pocket pets, wildlife, and surgery. She particularly enjoys working with birds, especially parrots and water foul.
Dr. Davison spends most of her free time with her family which includes two young boys, and taking care of her menagerie of pets and farm animals. When time allows, she really enjoys traveling and going to the beach.
