Our Mission:
As pet parents, we know how strong the bond becomes with our pets, and the worry and concern we feel when they become sick or are injured. All of us at Tampa Bay Veterinary Emergency Service, stand ready to see that your pet receives highly skilled and compassionate veterinary emergency care 365 day a year. WE have dedicated ourselves to consistently pursuing the latest state of the art training so that we may offer your pet the most up to date veterinary medical care in a friendly environment.

Compassion: We strive to treat every pet in the same respectful and compassionate manner with which we would treat our own pet
Highly skilled patient care: All team members receive ongoing training in veterinary emergency care so that we may offer your pet the excellent care it deserves.
Working with our referring veterinarians: Your regular veterinarian is always kept informed of the diagnoses and treatment recommendations. They are then prepared for any follow-up treatment your pet may need.
Being here when you need us: We recognize your pet may become sick or injured when you regular veterinarian is closed. We are therefore open when you need us; evenings, weekends, and all holidays. You can count on us being here when you need us most.
Accountability:
Your trust in our services is very important to us. We will therefore always keep you informed of our recommendations for treatment and associated costs before we start treatment.
Our Facility:
We are conventently located close to I-275 at the corner of Bearss Ave and Florida Ave on the northeast corner behind the Bank of America.
We are fully equipped with an in-house laboratory to perform blood chemistries, blood counts, and coagulation profiles. We offer diagnostic testing including radiology, cardiac EKG, and blood pressure monitoring. We have an oxygen chamber and special incubators for exotic & neonatal patients. Our surgical suite is prepared for urgent and emergent procedures.
